I had my “Behind The Scenes” talk today and it did seem to go well. People looked interested and asked decent questions (one lady asked how much research is enough!). I sold a few copies of the book, too, which was a good bonus.
I think next time, though, I’ll do a behind-the-scenes talk where the audience will actually help write a story with me. Instead of just talking, I’ll get them to supply things like clues, red herrings, characters, and a sleuth and culprit. I think, upon reflection, that would have been more exciting than just listening. Next time …
